Early Life: Sobhita Dhulipala was born on May 31, 1992, in Tenali, Andhra Pradesh, India.
Miss India Title: She won the title of Femina Miss India South 2013 and was the second runner-up at Femina Miss India 2013.
Debut in Bollywood: Sobhita made her Bollywood debut with the film “Raman Raghav 2.0” (2016), directed by Gangs Of Wasseypur director Anurag Kashyap and gained much praises even with brief screen time. Interesting fact – The first scene that Sobhita Dhulipala shot for the movie was her topless intimate scene with Vicky Kaushal.
International Recognition: She gained international recognition for her role in the Amazon Prime series “Made in Heaven” (2019), where she played the character of Tara Khanna, a wedding planner. Her fashion game and character game both earned praises globally.
Educational Background: Before entering the entertainment industry, Sobhita studied at Visakha Valley School in Visakhapatnam and completed her degree in Commerce from HR College of Commerce and Economics in Mumbai.
Modeling Career: Sobhita started her career as a model and has walked the ramp for various fashion designers. She has also appeared in several advertisements and posed for Kingfisher calendar’s bikini photoshoot.
Pageantry Experience: In addition to winning Femina Miss India South 2013, Sobhita represented India at the Miss Earth 2013 pageant.
Fluency in Multiple Languages: Sobhita is fluent in multiple languages, including Telugu, Hindi, and English, which helped her in one of her biggest film Ponniyin Selvan also starring Aishwarya Rai and Trisha Krishnan.
Filmography: Apart from “Raman Raghav 2.0” and “Made in Heaven,” Sobhita has been part of other projects like “Bard of Blood” (Netflix series) and the Malayalam film “Moothon” (2019). She is currently making much buzz with her upcoming film Monkey Man directed by and starring Slumdog Millionaire actor, Dev Patel. Fans also loved her in The Night Manager.
