Mary Kom, released in 2014 is based on Indian female boxes, Mary Kom. The character in the film is played by Priyanka Chopra and the film is produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Directed by Omung Kumar, the film was a big commercial success as well as one of the highest earning Indian film featuring female lead.

9 ) Dangal.


Dangal is India’s highest  grossing movie. The film was inspired from Phogat family’s two duaghter Geeta Phogat and Babita Phogat, who are India’s first world-class female wrestlers. The film was praised by critics as well.
