Prabhas’ much awaited Kalki 2898 AD trailer is out now – featuring Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Disha Patani and Kamal Haasan and Saswata Chatterjee.
One of the much awaited Indian films, Kalki 2898 AD’s trailer is here and it looks promising in terms of VFX. The film is based on the backdrop of Indian mythology combined with modern elements and the story spans over a millenia. As per trailer, the film seems to have two different world – good and bad – as usual fighting.
The film features some of the biggest Indian stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone with Prabhas leading the film. Disha Patani also plays supporting role along with fine Saswata Chaterjee and legendary Kamal Haasan.
Kalki 2898 AD is directed by Nag Ashwin and is made with a budget of 600 crores making it one of the most expensive Indian films. The film seems to follow the steps of Bollywood blockbuster Brahamastra which also explored the elements of Indian mythology with modern touch.
Deepika Padukone was last seen in big blockbusters like Pathan and Jawan before she faced much criticism in Fighter and Disha Patani was last seen in Yodha. After Bahubali, Prabhas hasn’t been able to impress fans much. After flops like Saaho, Radhe Shyam and Adipurush he managed to get commercial success with Salaar and now fans have high hopes from Kalki.
